Backless Black and Blue Fish Tail Evening Dress
My first project was an evening dress, this was made from a NewLook pattern, pictured below, using View C. I wanted to make something really different, so I went for a backless design and opted for this unusual printed satin which has blue and silver oriental flowers on it. To compliment this I added an ice blue sash in duchesse satin which falls to about calf length. The dress also has a mini train.

Victorian corset
This corset is made with steel spiral bones, giving firm support, but also flexibilty. This was made using a vogue pattern, picture below. The fabric is a lovely blue rose brocade, accented with blue satin bias binding. I also used chunky hooks and eyes down the front to add detail, and laced eyelets down the back with white cord.

Blue flower wrap-over crinkle dress
I made this dress for a wedding guest, using a pattern from Vogue as pictures below. It is made from this lovely crinkled blue satin, which is embroidered with green and kahki flowers, and white vines. The dress is calf length, with box pleats in the skirt, and a wrap opbver style bozice and mini pleated sleeves which give a "sweet heart" neck line. The lighting doesn't do justice to this beautiful fabric.
