Memo Board
This is my memo board! It is an A0 sizes canvas with a wadding centre, covered with blue polka dot fabric and ribbons, finished off with pearly buttons.

Crochet
I've recently gone crochet crazy! So welcome to the new page showing how I've got hooked ;-) These are mostly Christmas presents for my family, but I have also done a few home items aswell.
Mohair Spiral Scarf
This one was for my Grandma. This wool is amazing - by Style Craft, its called Brush Strokes, and the colour is 'Autumn Hue'. It is based on a soft brown thread, with a second thread wrapped round it which goes from teal to pinky red and back again. The mohar is so soft, and in this design makes a warm and stylish scarf. It can be worn either as a spiral, or as a ruffle scarf giving two looks in one.
Chunky Purple Cardigan
I made this for my Mum. This is the same wool I used for the Chunky scarf, but in varying shades of purple this time. Again the wool is so soft and warm perfect for a winter cardigan. The cardigan again used a large crochet hook size. A flared edge completes the sleeves and collar.
Beret and Mits
This is a green, grey and black sparkly beret, with matching ribbed wrist warmer mits. It is based on double crochet, and on the hat I have included decorative gaps. I also bought a plain thinsulate beanie to line the beret to make it nice and snuggly!
Chunky Rusty Pocket Scarf
This is for my Mother in law, who looks great in these colours. I loved this wool, its so chunky and very soft and goes from red to rust, to brown. I used the biggest crochet hook I had, to make the awesome texture. It is really long, reaching to the knee and once wrapped round the neck, the pockets are just the right height to put your hands in the pockets.
Hippy Flower Scarf
I made this for a friend who has definitely got a hippy streak. I used a bright purple (not blue as it appears in the picture), grey, and lime green sparkly wool. Each flower is different, and integrates the 3 colours through out the scarf. Perhaps not the warmest scarf, but it definitely oozes flower power.
Sparkly lace arm/wrist warmers
These are gorgeous and come up to just below the elbow. The pattern is ribbed with a triangle lace pattern every third row, giving it a delicate and subtle texture. The sparkles in the black wool means these could be worn every day or with evening wear.
